How to have the perfect yardsale

If you are like me, you want to have the perfect yardsale but sometimes you have to think of the best way to have a successful yardsale. Well Here is my tips.

  1. DO NOT USE ROUND STICKY PRICE TAGS – I have discovered that the easiest and best way to price stuff is by purchasing the Avery miniature colored stickers. Then use that to price stuff. Then make signs telling people what the color coding means. I found this to work extremely well. Price your more expensive stuff with white price tags with string. You can order that online.,

2. MAKE SURE TO HAVE PLENTY OF 5s and 1s and 10s – When having a yardsale make sure to have plenty of change. I noticed people loving paying in 20s and I got some 50s as well.

3. MAKE SURE TO HAVE A TABLE – You need to make sure you have a table out so people can put the stuff they want to purchase on it. You don’t want them to have their arms full when looking around. They will end up not buying as much.

4. HAVE PLASTIC BAGS AND WRAPPING PAPER – Always make sure to have wrapping paper and plastic bags. People will appreciate it.

5 THESE ARE THE DAYS TO SET UP – What I have learned is Thursday/Friday/Saturday is the best days to set up a yardsale. Very few people came on Sunday.
